Dear Friends,

 

In order to connect to your spirit guides and angels, a good practice is to feel your own energy first and experience yourself centered and grounded.

Opening and expanding your spiritual awareness will help you connect to the spirit world.

One of the most important things you can do to open your awareness is to breathe mindfully.meditation

We breathe all the time without thinking about it and most of us breathe from the chest and forget to bring the breath all the way to the belly.

One way to become more mindful in your breathing is to take a breath and say to yourself, “I am breathing in and I am breathing out.”

Become aware of your breath.

This is one way to bring your awareness into the present moment.

Instantly, you will become more grounded and centered in your being.

Be mindful. When you find yourself frustrated or worried, re-mind yourself to come back to the present moment.

“I am breathing in and I am breathing out.”

 

One conscious breath can become a meditation.

 

Another way to feel your own energy is to become aware of your auric field. Your auric field(energy field) has many different layers and vibrations which extends about 3 feet around you.

When we are afraid, we pull back or constrict the flow of our energy drawing the auric field very close to our physical body.

When we are in love and in joy, our auric field expands and is limitless.

To begin this exercise, imagine or visualize your auric field as a white light in the shape of a circle that surrounds you about 3 feet. See yourself in the center of this circle.

This light surrounds the front of you and the back of you. You feel this light on your right side and on your left side, above you and below you.

Close your eyes and see if you can feel your energy in the center of this circle. You are now centered in your being and grounded in your energy.

You are energy!

bare-feetAlso, when you walk, feel the energy you are giving and receiving from Mother Earth.

Many people walk on only a part of their feet, the toes or on the sides or balls of their feet.

Practice mindfulness when you walk.

Be mindful using the entire bottom of the foot and make as much contact with the earth as possible. Practice walking slower than usual to help bring your attention to this process.

Feel the earth underneath your feet and walk barefoot whenever possible to increase this connection of unconditional love with Mother Earth.

Take each step and send compassion and love to the earth.

 

 

Through opening our awareness and becoming mindful of our energy, we can then extend our hearts to receive greater guidance from our Spirit Guides and Angels.
